Well this is what happens when leadership doesn't stand up for its players.  The players do it themselves.

TLR tried to fight a catcher and was suspended when he had Mike Wright hit the AL MVP and good chance someone will get drilled next weekend.

TLR has basically told us that Abreu walks on water, what more do you want in this regard?

Risking injury is ridiculous there

1) It wasn't THAT bad
2) You get hit 20 something times with a baseball, including once in the head, and let's see if you want to be gentle with the opposing team.

here's where Tony's logic doesnt make a ton of sense. It's an important enough game (1 run in the 9th) for you to get Liam up to pitch, but it's not important enough to have Billy Hamilton pinch run for Abreu there? Have Hamilton steal 2nd and you've got a man in scoring position with 1 out???

Then, on top of it all, you bring Billy out in the bottom of the 9th as defensive replacement anyway? You pinch run Hamilton for Abreu, move Vaughn to 1st, still put Hamilton in LF and let Goodwin play RF.
