It's tough when your fastball is 97 mph and your changeup is 92 mph. He needs to try a different grip or something to get it down in the 86-88 mph range, or he's never getting out of the pen. What got everyone geeked was 100mph Crochet that had Sox fans with dreams of Randy Johnson and Chris Sale in their heads. It’s disappointing any way you slice it. But it’s his first day on the mound.
