Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to platoon Leury and Harrison instead? Or am I missing something here about Leury's non-stellar RF defense? I don't think anyone will. I feel like people haven't really looked at his minor league career and noticed the 30%+ strikeout rate. He isn't ready for MLB action. Leury isn’t good against RHP despite being a “switch hitter”, so platooning him with a bunch of RH hitters doesn’t make sense to anyone but Rick Hahn & Tony La Russa. If you keep adolfo and send him down later, after all other designations and claims, there's a better chance you get to keep him imo. However small that difference may be.
