Still have to weather nine more against KC (4) and Detroit (5).

Not going to get K's like that against Correa and Kepler with bases loaded on a consistent basis too often in Minny.

But the Twins with Buxton struggling mightily and not adjusting to a DH role were definitely due for a loss even facing a bullpen starter.  He's back in CF tmrw, supposedly.

Twins blew their lead but have bases loaded no outs now.

Barlow has been unbelievable this year.  Fortunate to get the bottom of the order, but Gordon and Kepler aren't easy outs…and their rookie 1B was 2/3 in the game before he was the first out via K.   Ball didn’t leave the infield after dicing up Gordon with a curve.

FYI, this was 100 pct intended to jinx them. You’re welcome....not all heroes wear capes

Ironically, Taylor Rogers has completely had a disaster of a stretch after entering the week with a 0.36 ERA or something 2021 Kimbrel-esque like that.

Apparently the Moncada “Forty Acres and a Mule” comment wasn’t enough…

3) José Ramírez, 3B, Guardians (not ranked)

J-Ram ranked in the Top 3 of the first two Hitter Power Rankings of the season, and he's right back there again after falling out of the Top 10 last time. The Guardians slugger was just named American League Player of the Week after batting .348 with three homers, seven extra-base hits, 11 RBIs and three stolen bases last week. Ramírez leads the Majors with 52 RBIs.
