Dick Allen Posted April 8, 2022 Share Posted April 8, 2022 It doesn’t matter if Pollock was a LF, CF, 3B…whatever. He was camped for that one and missed it. It happens, There are tons of HS kids who if they were in the same position, would have made the catch. If it were Eloy or Vaughn or Sheets, we would all be saying burn their gloves. Expand Starting Engel isn’t the answer. Making a defensive sub/switch is. Engel to RF late, Pollock to LF.
