Colome's Hat
I think Liam will be fine. If I recall, he kind of struggled in April. Also, the ramp up likely did him no favors.
The Beast
How many people are worried or are panicking about Hendriks? I’m not.

Way too many 3-2 counts. He picks rather than attacks. With the defense being better...he needs to attack.
southsider2k5
This was a great one to steal, and let there be no doubt, we stole that one. Also guys, I am starting to think this Robert guy might be a pretty good signing. 1

ShoeLessRob
That’s exactly what a league MVP does, wins games single handily.
chitownsportsfan
VV benefited from the wind and relatively cool temps compared to summer but at the same time I will always appreciate a fill in guy that goes out there and makes the other team (especially when it's as mediocre of a lineup as he faced today) beat him. He did a decent job hitting the corners and we'll take all we can get from his spot in the rotation. Lopez looked great. Live arm, had two different breaking balls working. It's frustrating to see Eloy completely off balance time and time again. I hope it's not late early for him as anything more than a 800 OPS DH. Also, the new guy Reese hitting some balls hard: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?date=2022-04-12&chartType=pitch&legendType=pitchName&playerType=pitcher&inning=&count=&pitchHand=&batSide=&descFilter=&ptFilter=&resultFilter=&hf=exitVelocity#661538 Edited April 13, 2022 by chitownsportsfan
caulfield12
Yeah, two of those balls hit by the Ms are long gone in the summer months...arguably three. Based on the discrepancy in pure stuff between the starters, we stole that one. And our bullpen before Hendriks totally outpitched the M's, although there were a couple of tight spots we pitcher over defensive mistakes and got the key outs...so that was an overall positive. And then pen will have a totally different feeling with Kelly available as well in the 7th and 8th. Also, need to get Sheets a hit to get going soon. TB and Cleveland can pitch. Not good but not terrible either. Seattle is a borderline playoff team.

caulfield12
The Tigers will look completely different with Torkelson actually hitting and Riley Greene in the lineup.

Eloy should have had that ball right on the line…his sprint speed getting over there was probably 8-10.
