I’m assuming Dalquist will be on the mound today.  If so, hopefully he’s better than he was last time out.

To be honest, that outing was better than most of his last year other than the 2 bombs. The strikeouts were there which is a very good sign. Hope he builds on it,

Really wonder how the enforcement of the pitch clock is going effect a bunch of these young developing pitchers. Seems like it's something that isn't in their best interest? Though I imagine it might help some of these guys who overthink it? Turn off your mind and throw your pitch.

Games are currently down something like 25 minutes in time…2:38 from 3:03, thats a huge improvement.

Yup. But maybe not conducive to player development.

It depends if they get something like 15-16 and 20-22 seconds instead of 14 and 18 (with runners on base) along with the automated strike zone at the big league level…those eventual changes have to be in the pipeline as they’re so obvious for cutting out 4 hour games.

Maybe as players move up the minor league ladder, you could shorten the time between pitches. Arguing younger guys might benefit from a couple seconds more to process especially when guys are on base. As they move up and get used to what they are doing, they should process faster.

Bryan Ramos not only puts up great stats but looks like a ball player. He’s a big kid that can run. If he’s still playing great for the next month or so move him up and bring colas with him.

Something tells me Ramos is going to end up being trade bait
