Season ticket holders are included, so it's tickets sold.

Fwiw, Tigers are out drawing the Sox by 2500 per game and we are about 1000 clear of Minnesota although they are certain to get a big bounce when the weather improves.

Attendance at this point is useless to look at.  Weather in Chicago has been just awful.  I don’t even want to go to my kids games.

Well, if the goal was to recapture the summer of 1968 pitching wise?

That said, as Benetti notes, it will start to reverse as a trend when temps return to the 60s and 70s.

This is more than just cold weather.  Ball is dying at most parks.

About the only thing that's clear so far is that the White Sox ticket sales out of the lockout and disappointing offseason acquisitions hasn't exactly motivated the fanbase as Boyer anticipated.   It's not Detroit and Minny have better weather.

There was a report on the news last night too about the amount of batters getting hit and the baseball's having an issue.

I'm not sure Vaughn can hit a ball much harder than he did yesterday and that thing went what, 365? Ball is dead.

I believe this is what MLB wants. They want it to be this difficult to hit HRs, and for hitters to adapt accordingly, or get left behind.

Sure, both teams added superstars in the offseason.  Tigers also have had the Cabrera 3,000 hit chase to attract fans.

They want more balls in play and for the running game to come back. HRs aren't balls in play.

Fewer HRs and Ks, more balls in play and SB is the goal of MLB.
