chw42
Tyler Wade is basically another Leury Garcia. The Angels basically got him for free while we paid our Leury $16 million over 3 years.

Since there are more RHP than LHP, you can get where I'm going with this. Burger has a mere 98 plate appearances in the bigs in 31 games. You do you, but maybe, just maybe, give him more time than that.

Because he's always been the fall guy for Vaughn's supposed lack of AB's so he doesn't get a pass even though there aren't a whole lot of guys lighting the world on fire offensively on this team yet. Vaughn's high offensive WAR so far is just about wiped out by his terrible defensive WAR. The Sox only have 3 guys currently on the team now with a positive offensive WAR. Could’ve let him start the inning and given him a short leash. Thankfully it worked out anyway.

I actually think Sheets is moving better than Vaughn this year when last year it was the opposite. However, neither Sheets nor Vaughn should be playing the OF. Yes, but we've been getting McGuire at C, Grandal at DH, Sheets in RF and then you either have Vaughn in LF or on the bench and both of those are bad. So you just can't afford to keep Sheets playing in the OF. Of course, Tony may end up using Burger at 2B so maybe there's no good choice.

JUSTgottaBELIEVE
Once this offense gets going, this is going to be a tough team to beat. This starting rotation is nasty,

I think a lot of the Sheets hate is because Tony plays him over Vaughn and in RF. Nothing to do with him, all about his usage.

Neither of them are being written off completely, now. But, one provides more value than the other, to this point. A guy's "stayability" shouldn't be tied to JUST which side he swings from.
