His average fastball this year is lower than last year. Big difference is he's keeping the fastball up this year - which led to its success year one with the + spin rate which has returned. Also, he's throwing more sliders and fewer change ups.

chw42
I can't believe we used Matt Foster in the 8th in a 2 run game and it worked.
caulfield12
Why does every left like Delmonico and then Palka and now Sheets have to have a complete collapse after looking halfway productive in a limited number of at-bats with the most favorable of match-ups? Guess the question is already answered.

It's a bit like the opposite of Giolito. Lucas is throwing more pitches than ever before low in the zone...whereas Foster lived with 75-80% of his pitches down or out of the strike zone until now. Not even sure a kayak paddle would help much in these conditions. Hendriks up. Heyward/Hoerner/etc., due up. White Sox doing their usual trick where they score early and fail to add onto the cushion, thus putting everything on the defense and bullpen in the late innings. Spumoni
Harrison is unwatchable. Just cut bait and bring up Yolbert already. 1

His expiration date is similar to Jimmy Rollins', whenever we jettisoned him in 2016 and the season started to fall apart in so many ways.
