Your biggest fear is that the Sox win the World Series and you can still find something to be upset about?  Umm, sure.  Love to have that problem.

Dear god.  This is like the fifth time.  No offense, but your joke detector is seriously broken.

You're not concerned that the Sox did nothing in the off season to address the lack of LH hitting while the Sox continue to look just like they have since after the ASB last year ? A good Moncada would help but that would still be the same cast of LH or switch hitters from last year.

Not at all.  They have arguably more talent than all other 29 teams.

And did you also think that last year ?

I remember hearing the exact same argument every single season we lost to the Twins in the 00's...then the Tigers, Indians, Royals, Indians again.

Teams like the Rays count on the big boys overlooking them season after season...except the White Sox should NEVER be considered as a Cinderella team when their resources and competitive advantage are so abundant compared to the rest of the division.

More talent doesn't translate to the best team if your talent is highly concentrated among RH hitters who aren't good at any defensive position.

Adam Frazier is less talented than Eloy Jimenez, Andrew Vaughn, and Jose Abreu, but if you replaced one of those three with Frazier you'd have a better team.

Not second half 2021 and this year's version though.

Adam Frazier currently has a .659 OPS vs RHP and yes that sounds bad but it would be 5th best on the Sox, plus he's good at 2B and both corner OF spots.

Even so, Adam Frazier was just an example, plug in any LH hitter with a worse overall OPS but good at 2B and/or OF and the team is better.

They still have to play the games.  The Sox will be at the top of the team WAR leaderboards and the standings.  With the supposed extra money they shored up the bullpen.   Hard to argue it.  I wish they brought back our boy Rodon too but it is what it is.

That’s the macro view.  Sure you can get twisted up about the small stuff, but on paper, we’re at the top.    Now go win it boys.
