Texsox Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 From time to time I've looked at players with piles of glittery stats and dismissed them by claiming they were really just average but benefited from playing a long time. I've changed my opinion. Staying healthy and playing a couple decades in MLB is a great accomplishment and those players should be given more respect, even HoF worthy respect. I agree that staying healthy and playing 15 years is a great accomplishment, don't think it's HOF worthy without a top 5 or so player in the game period for at least a few years.
