Wonder how many other 'contending' teams out there, have a guy in the rotation making $18 million this season, with a 7.18 ERA?

None. But at the same time we are not a contending team now, and Keuchel is one of the reasons.  So it’s a chicken egg situation.

Thanks GRF wind.

There come the boos.

At least they pretty much have to pull him from the rotation at this point.

Have yourself two weeks

Third three run homer and a grand slam mixed in this week.

Story has obliterated sliders and cutters for two weeks... great scouting report there guys.

"How am I supposed to win out there on the mound, when the offense isn't scoring me any runs."

- Dallas Keuchel (Probably), after going down 6-0 in 2 innings of work.

They don’t even have any hits.  What’s a pitcher supposed to do.

Pretty safe to say that Keuchel is done for. Velasquez should be starting instead of Keuchel.

Why you could never say we had a "great rotation" because the weakness we all knew would be exposed at the back end...just lacking in quality depth.

It was a predictable sure three run homer coming. DK should not have been pitching to hot hitting Story.  Fuck DK and TLR.   Another punted game.

This is a good test for our club.

If we truly are going to be a competitive team, a division champ, and a team with postseason potential, then we should show it by coming back in a game like this.

Bullpen needs to shut it down and the offense needs to chip away and come back.

Audible boos on the radio

Yet you know the postgame stories will be all about Dallas deflecting blame...offense not supporting him so he needed to be too fine, couldn't rely on Grandal, poor advance scouting, infielders masquerading as outfielders, etc.

Just checking the score....Dallas gives up 3 in the 1st and another tres in the 2nd.  Any argument that he has value to this team is less and less strong every day.  I can't see why keeping him around is any better than just calling someone up in case of an injury. It is beyond time to move on.

Nah, Grandal will just roll over a grounder into the shift like normal.

Keuchel should have been used Monday as the mop up man. Choosing Keuchel over VV made no sense then, before this game started and quite obviously now.

It was unnecessary to give up 6 runs. Pitching DK to the hot red Sox was an insult to White Sox nation.

Literally is just money at this point. That's it. If it weren't about money, he'd be dfa'd. He belongs on the Knights rotation

This is too much optimism for you, Thad.

The Naylor comeback from six downfelt like a near miracle.  Well, let's see if they have any of that 2020 fighting spirit left over.

Nestor Cortes throwing yet another shutout tonight against TB...sheesh.
