Jose swinging at a fastball that just missed spiking off home plate. Way to go, Pito

Back to be over aggressive in situations where you have the count in your favor.  Pick a zone where you want it and if not there don't swing.

There are like 3 guys on the team who take this approach to hitting and aside from Vaughn neither Grandal or Moncada can hit anything even if you throw it in their zone. Everyone else is content to swing at anything.

Usually you're happy when your team gets the bases loaded with 1 out.

With the Sox the first thing that comes to mind is a double play ball or a strike out.  Never a walk and very few sacrifice flys.

Hmmm, maybe Robert should have hit 3rd instead of an ice cold Moncada ?

I've defended Yoan more than anyone on here, but batting him 3rd against McClanahan is insanity. It should be Burger at 3rd & probably Yoan on the IL.

Our guys just won’t take a walk, and are not very selective.  Don’t we have coaches to suggest different approaches when things are not working.?  Sox do not adjust.  It is the same crap every day over and over.
