Many times over at this point

I mean we just had our most productive inning of the game and not a single ball left the infield in the air.  These guys look like they’ve never seen a slider, they can’t elevate for shit, and have no idea what situational hitting is.  It literally can’t get any worse, so might as well make a change.

The White Sox love their power guys to be opposite field hitters which makes no sense at all.

Lift and pull is an old sox meme, but they need a lot more of that and refuse to let their players to their strengths.

For the longest time they wanted power pitchers to pitch to contact...

This system is so terrible, so devoid of depth, that we have to pitch 3 of our starters in a game just to finish it. This is on Hahn and the whole FO.

I normally would agree but I'm not sure you can adequately plan for all of these injuries...

I know Viciedo was not good, but in the minors he would crush inside fastballs. Once he got to the big club he was constantly beat inside and would look to push the ball to right field- Same with Eloy in the Cubs system.

It‘s like baseball coaching from the fucking 50s.

He also couldn’t ever lay off high fastballs…then the low and away slider issue.

Sigh.

What did he say?

He was talking about how Gray was able to stymie the lineup of mostly all right handers due to his good changeup I believe.  He then said this is a lineup that has been too right handed for awhile basically.
