Injuries happen. Play through it and have the guys that are paid to produce produce more often than not and we'll be alright. Thing is the margin for error is getting smaller and smaller they squandered one chance to get a couple clear of .500 when they prolly should have -- can't let that happen many times going forward. Let's hope this squad has a little swag now. I do think that teams go on hot streaks where the pressure is off each guy and it clicks. Thing is you gotta win most those periods in the season. Come on Sox.
shoeless_joe21
Great win! Loved what we got from the bullpen tonight. Not gonna lie, I laughed at "The Clopener." I'm not proud. And we're only a few minutes into the post-game, but Ozzie has already waxed nostalgic about beating children and said Carlos Lee is now as fat as the Kool-aid Man. South Side Hit Men
Nice win again, you got to beat the horrendous teams and the Tigers are on fumes at this point. Eloy's injury has given Vaughn (2 off games since May 14 when he returned from the IL) and Pollock (5 off games since Eloy's April 23 injury) a chance to play regularly, and they have taken advantage of it. Pollock could probably use a little more rest as the season progresses. Tony did a good job managing Vaughn's transition to MLB and LF last year, including off days against tough RHP, but he should be playing regular at this point. w RC+ 2021 & 2022 Pollock: 137 & 86 Vaughn: 94 & 133 Eloy: 101 & 66 Edited June 15, 2022 by South Side Hit Men

Chimpton
Might have been 'only' Detroit but that was a good effort from the beat up White Sox to make it drama free, but a week or 2 without injuries would be nice!
White Sox Park
If we ever get Cease, Kopech, and Lynn all healthy, we could go on a roll . not sure about Giolito, as someone said that he has long covid . not a lot of power, but putting hits together to score runs, works for me . if we can just get the team healthy. hogan873
Good to see Cease gut out five innings without his best stuff. Lambert did a really nice job covering two innings. Nice to see Kelly back; he has nasty stuff. Pollock is finally looking like the Pollock we thought we were getting. He's locked in right now and is thriving in the leadoff spot. Vaughn with four hits is awesome to see. McGuire is doing a nice job as the primary catcher while Grandal is out. And we can't say enough about Danny Mendick. He is doing an outstanding job filling in for TA. Another nice win against a bad team. But that's what we need to do: Beat the crap out of the bad teams. Let's sweep their asses today.
