I can’t remember a team, night in and night out with line ups with more players that play out of position EVERY NIGHT. Don’t want to hear Injuries as an excuse.  Blame TLR, blame Hahn for the team he put together, blame JR for allowing all this to happen

Amazed people think that was a "tough" play.

Sheets was running to the spot the entire time while looking back at the ball. He took a rounded route. He was still under the ball and it hit him right in the glove.

A normal outfielder not only runs to the spot and is sitting under the ball, but it wouldn't even be considered a tough play. That was a 1* catch if he makes it.

Any play that involves an approaching fixed object, like a wall, on a full sprint is not considered "routine" by any stretch.

I literally am fed up with this BS.

Get Sheets the F out of the outfield. That is another routine play that any half competent Major League outfielder makes.

Can Hahn explain how the Braves acquired three competent outfielders at the trade deadline last year, and the Soxacquired none and were stuck with the likes of Goodwin and this season with Sheets.

If he had any speed he would have been camped at the base of the wall waiting.

Don't drift back...bust ass get there first to the wall and readjust.

Outfield Play 101.

Goodwin and Hamilton were fine for what they were.

And it was four: Rosario Soler Duvall Pederson.

No and that is why he needs to go right along with TLR. This team looks like it was constructed by a 5 yr old.

Poor Sheets can't take his eyes of the ball while turning and running and tracking simultaneously...and then there was the sun.

Too difficult to expect him to make the play all things considered.

He's not a real outfielder.

Can you imagine Tony as a football Coach?  Then he could really play guys out of posituin.

He'd play linebackers at safety cause who cares if they get beat over the top?
