He has literally been a major leaguer since 2018

He has pitched 7 less innings this year than all of last and he's already down to 93-94? That's really good!

He's pitched 148 innings in 5 seasons and only pitched in 3 of those seasons, but you're trolling, so whatever

The problem is that everyone in the lineup tonight hitting lower than Sheets is just as bad or worse.

Yes that is true.  Doesn't matter either way.

Hopefully they can grind out a win some how tonight.  Garcia did work the count at least.

At least we've worked some counts tonight

He pitched 70 innings last year. He's at 63 this year. Shouldn't he be gaining strength as seasons pass, like maybe 100-120 IP this year, before his stuff dwindles?

Kopech was the Sox best starting pitcher up until his injury and it wasn't close. He dominated the Dodgers and Yankees.

Kopech sucks is even more ludicrous than all of the Moncada sucks stuff from last year.

Not one person said Kopech sucks

He got injured, man. He was gaining strength until then. IIRC he injured his plant leg and it seems he's not able to drive off of it anymore. If he can't drive off of it after the ASB then it's a problem.

He’s mentioned it might bug him all season

Naylor just walked off the Twins. Twins had a 3 run lead in extras and still lost.

Only 3.5 and 5.5 GB, lol.  Has to be one of the most emotional celebrations of the entire season...just when you want to count the Guardians out after being 1 game up a week ago.

That’s not really what he said fwiw. He said he feels it and may for a bit. Never said it’s something he expects to feel rest of season, unless I missed it.

Even though Moncada has 2 ks he put together a couple good ABs. Those pitches he struck out on are insanely tough to lay off. Process is there, the results will come.

You’re trying to take the opposite viewpoint tonight than usual, aren’t you?

I believe he said for rest of the year, but am willing to be proven wrong
