Seriously, get some awareness Vaughn

It's his job to get to 3rd there when your awareness is that Tim will be tagged out. Not very often does a runner in a rundown between 3rd and home not get tagged out. Vaughn was doing his job there going as far as he could towards third until he saw Tim was going to make it back when no one was covering third. At that point he's left in nowhere land and hung out to dry.

Because it's a big lead and you're getting a player out who can give the last guy on the bench a shot.

Yeah but Pollock didn't start. Only played an inning defensively. Why not just put him in from the get go

Time to start getting ready for the next two weeks of games which could very well determine how this season will play out for the Sox.

They've gotten themselves a bit more back into this race. 4.5 out with 10 games against the 2 teams in front of them in the next 2 weeks. It's put up or shut up time.

Yup, too bad that baltimore coughed up the lead twice, they really outplayed minnesota and should have swept them tbh
