I'm not sure. Kopech is not getting hitters to swing at balls this year which is unnerving. He was in the 17th percentile in chase rate coming into this game.

Guardians are really scuffling now and Naylor got hurt yesterday.

Mostly Ramirez has been ice cold for nearly three weeks now.

There was a difference though. The Twins could still hit and catch the ball last year. The Sox cannot hit, pitch or catch the ball.

He's already pitched more innings than last season and this is his first year as a starter since 2018. Growing pains were inevitable.
