They can't send him down unless he agrees to go.

This is not accurate, though they won’t be sending him down. He has less than 5 years of service and 2 options remaining.

Sox don't have a lot of good players. Talent has been overrated by everyone.

I'm beginning to agree with this.

They don't seem to have a good culture in player development either. A guy like AJ Pollock is a damn good player on the Dodgers but comes here to rot.

Kopech just isn’t the same since the injury. It’s way past time they put him on the IL.

His swinging strike rate has been down for quite awhile. He's been getting by with smoke and mirrors lately. He'll eventually be fine, but such is dealing with growing pains with a guy starting for the first time in like 4 years.

If someone didn't give a shit, wouldn't the area it shows up more than any other be on defense? come on.

Not necessarily.  Probably base running would be the most likely place  for most players but everybody's different.  Some players may take too many strikes because they don't give a shit, while others may just go hacking at everything.  Not hustling to first base would be an indicator but it's hard to tell when the manager tells the whole team not to hustle.

Agree 100%. Baserunning is where it would show the most. Fielding, for guys that are great at it, just happens at times. Baserunning....takes some focus and attention.

Schwarber is going to hit more homers in July than the entire Sox team.   Good job Rick

Didn’t think Tony could 2003 this Roster and play NL small ball game in and game out but he has proven me wrong
