It does go to show his intrinsic marketing value to the franchise, as clearly the most nationally recognizable player on the team over Abreu and Robert. Our section spent a lot of time punching thousands of ballots for Carlton Fisk the first half of the year. We would get boxes from the Andy Frain ushers. We only took breaks to boo Tony every time he left the dugout. He disgusted us so much, we gave up our tickets for 1986, not knowing Hawk would right the world and fire Tony in June.
