That was due to their manager putting out a I'm punting this game lineup every time we had a chance to sweep a series You could see it slowly happening last year, but this team has absolutely morphed into The demeanor of their manager. They are complacent, they lack energy, and don't seem to care. Youre right. If winning were important, they would go tell LaRussa to get lost in between games. Every postgame press conference, he's as sleepy as his players played that day. It's time JR, KW, and RH showed some life and did something.

bmags
JR should see the silver lining here. He felt terrible for firing TLR all those years ago, he gave him another shot at redemption, and actually it just validated JR's initial move that TLR sucks.

HOFHurt35
Telecast no longer holding back on calling out LaRussa's in game idiocies. It's like if green light was given from up above. Sort of like when Stacey King was just clowning Jim Boylen during the telecasts right before he was dumped.

For me history says more than the baseball vacuum. I'd keep Cueto. Pitching is overpriced. Looking bad not signing Rodon was a bad move.

The irony is Reinsdorf did more to hurt TLR's reputation than fix any "mistake" he had made. TLR will always be looked at as a laughingstock, even in Cardinals territory. I have a lot of Cardinals friends and they ask me how its going with him. They are all well aware even if the national audience isnt. 1
