So many of their young players seem to regress or never fulfill their expectations and veterans they acquire always seem to just fall off a cliff.  I don't know the reason but something is terribly wrong with this organization.

Anderson has to get more on that throw.

To use the new buzzword, non-competitive.

16 pitches already feels like a record for the first inning for sox batters

The willingness to take pitches this half inning is wild. Good baserunnning by Jose

The Will To Wait.

Sox haven't had it collectively this season. Needs to change quick or it's adios, amigos.

Robert is in between on defense just like hitters get.

He's hesitating because he has been told not to go all out like he was in 2020.

Plus he's getting terrible reads all of a sudden.

It's like you can actually see him thinking out there instead of reacting instinctively.

Kopech's almost entirely reliant upon his fastballs to get whiffs and that's a difficult way for 99% of starters to pitch

Unless he's going to start throwing a change or slider, he's going to be limited like he got away with as a reliever in short bursts.

Is it crazy to consider an opener for Kopech? The thought would probably break Tony’s old mind so not going to happen, but Kopech consistently struggles in the 1st.

Nothing says he wouldn’t struggle still in his first inning. He just needs better command and stuff than he’s shown.

Might not be the worst idea, although who do you open with? Not Velasquez or Martin.

Ricky knew how to manage the core. Team would be  over .500 if he was managing this season, even with the injuries.

Basically the only options are Martin and Lambert.  Everyone would scream if those guys started against the Twins.
