How I'd set up the rotation:

22nd - Cueto

23rd - Cease, Giolito

24th - Kopech

25th - OFF

26th - Lynn

27th - Cueto

28th - OFF

29th - Cease

30th - Giolito

31st - Lynn

1st - Cueto

2nd - Kopech

That's a pretty solid set up, though I would probably throw Cease right away on the 22nd and switch him and Cueto.

I thought this too but I was listening to maybe soxmachine and the thought would be to start spacing him out where possible to remove a scheduled start or two for inning reduction.

Now this I like a lot too.  Slide Martin into the DH to give both Lynn and Kopech the extra days off.  That gives Kopech 12 days off, and Lynn 10.  If they get swapped, they would both have 11 days off.

I think this is much smarter.

I liked @ChiSox59s more but glad to see they are going for a sling shot throwing all their guys CLE this weekend.

Lynn, please be go

Yep, cannot fault them for putting their best guys out there.  Lance still gets a few days of extra rest.

Said they had to go 8-4 vs. Cleveland, Minnesota and Cleveland, to be possible buyers heading into trade deadline week. Need to go 3-1 vs. Cleveland to hit that mark.

I like Kopech getting extra time, though based on his earlier comments, the knee will be an issue through yearend. It was either Lynn or Martin Saturday, hopefully Lynn can bounce back.

Yeah, I’m  not putting any extra pressure on Cueto or Cease. I lean hard on Giolito (and Lynn incidentally). That’s what they are for.

I saw an interview with Lynn that partially explains what is going on.  It was during his rehab start and they asked him how he felt and he said that he was still adjusting to the surgery and the surgery had done to his knee.  I think the surgery he had likely requires some sort of big mechanical adjustment on his part.  I have faith in him that he'll find it.  I don't think Keuchel and Lynn are comparable at all.

Yeah, there's a reason I wanted Cueto first and not Giolito

Let’s wait and see the Game 1 score from tmrw first.  Guardians suddenly only 1 1/2 behind Twins again after falling all the way to 4.5 GB.

High water mark was 36-28 after coming back against Minny on June 22nd, 1 game up on the Twins for the division.  In fact, that was the only day so far this entire season they were leading.
