Fire Rick Hahn

JR  has been a bad owner but he is not stupid. If this team continues to tank somebody has to be held accountable and that person is Hahn. It wouldn't surprise me if Hahn was gone by the All Star break.

He quite likely is at least in early stages of dementia at this point so intelligence may be irrelevant

He may not be stupid, but if he's so insulated that he's not getting the right information, he'll make stupid decisions.

I definitely believe these last few weeks have accelerated Hahn’s fate. Mediocrity is job security with the White Sox; and he couldn’t even do that. You can definitely see the anger building amongst the fans. Even the national media is noticing this mess.

If he fires Hahn midseason, there’s too little time to find the replacement and allow whomever time to rebuild. You don’t give that responsibility to an interim hire. They’ll have to devote several weeks to the sham search before hiring another lackey like Chris Getz.

Which leads us to the realization that, regardless of the person in charge, a Reinsdorf hire will follow the bosses’ philosophies. Hahn will be fired upwards and the fans will pat themselves thinking  they’ve made some change.

Honestly, there are no paths forward that look good for this team. Whatever good comes of Hahns firing and a potential rebuild of a rebuild will be pure luck.

I wouldn't count on it.  JR wouldn't/couldn't fire his loyal trusted Gar/Pax, so he had his son take control of the team so he would do it for him.  That's the only way Ken/Hah will be fired, they have jobs for life much like our first base coach.

Is this it, it's over 2 hours.

Yes, I broke out the Hawk's Sox segments (see below), but the 1:05:50 mark is what you're looking for regarding Hawks comments on Brooks Boyer and also recommending Jerry sell because he is pushing 90, Hawk believes Jerry is not enjoying it anymore, and that the Sox had a bad season last year and will probably going to have another bad season this year. (Hawk knew this would be s%*#).

I recall others mentioning he was speaking out on Hahn's job in a different forum / interview. Hahn and Boyer need to go ASAP.

Something that I haven't heard anyone talk about re:Hahn

We need to start discussing how Hahn's inability to run this team has affected our odds at landing free agents. It's entirely plausible that players don't wanna play here, to the point that they're taking less money and going elsewhere.

After some texting with a friend last night, was thinking over some legendary Hahn quotes I couldn't 100% remember exactly what he said - so I watched 4 or 5 pretty long Hahn pressers etc from the last couple off seasons. He made it a point that "players want to come here because we're ready to win"

I'm guessing he was 100% completely full of s%*# when he said it.

Please please please please please fire Rick

You do realize who's next in line right. (I've been saying Fire Rick Hahn on Twitter for about a week straight, but I also know that Getz (Hahn's protege) is next up which solves absolutely nothing)

I can’t wait for the day that we never have to hear Rick’s lawyer speaking ass make excuses for poor results.  I’d wager large sums of money that no GM in Big Four sports history has served in such a capacity for 10+ years and has a worse winning percentage.

"There are multiple GMs with a worse record than my tenure limited to recent MLB history, let alone four North American Sports Leagues. Obviously Soxtalk poster Chicago White Sox is a negative fan and doesn't know what he is talking about. Everybody fan I meet tells me I am awesome, as does my boss and our owner. I will continue to lead the Chicago White Sox as I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me."
