I remember someone at SoxTalk posting a video of Hahn at SoxFest laughing about his trading Tatis to Padres.  It's been a few years, but it's like yesterday in my mind.

Hence, no SoxFest.

They care far more about negative PR/perception than what the fanbase actually wants.

Even Ricketts has been like a Profiles in Courage Award winner compared to the Sox triumvirate of power.

With this season going down the tubes would they dare cancel Sox fest again?

Frankly I wouldn't put it past them.

We all fell in love with a franchise that makes the playoffs once a decade and wins a WS once a century . . . why do we want that to change?

Keep everyone.

Once a decade is *slightly* generous. Its closer to once every 12 years, their failure deserves no rounding.

Actually I would argue we are in the golden age of White Sox baseball.

We have only made the playoffs 11 times, and 6 of those times were in the last 30 seasons!

And who gives a rats ass about making the playoffs beyond Jerry counting extra money (glad he got screwed out of it in 2020). It's about advancing in the playoffs (winning pre 1969).

The three years the White Sox advanced in the playoffs: 1906; 1917; 2005.

So basically if we win a playoff series we pretty much will win the whole thing, that's gotta mean something right??

I’d be surprised if there IS a Soxfest next season. If they didn’t want to face the music after going .500…why would they be open to it after this dumpster fire?

Of course the White Sox have one of the 2-3 worst "best draft classes" of all MLB teams... shocker.

Of course we suck at drafting talented college and high school prospects. To have success in this area, you have to have excellent scouts in the field who actually know what a good future major league player looks like, in order to recommend to the front office who to draft. Then you have to have a front office that is skilled enough that can determine which players to draft. Finally you have to have a FO that employs plenty of good coaches in the farm system that can nurture and develop these young prospects and get them ready for the major level some day.

The Sox have never for one moment had and never will have a clue...in all these areas under the current POS owner and front office losers.

Hopefully the next owner ( and it can't be soon enough) will change this Sox organizational flaw, by hiring winning executives from the outside of successful clubs that do excel in these areas of drafting and developing draft picks.

The Oakland A's are clearly better than the Chicago White Sox.

They were when Hahn's incompetence led to bullpen start in the final game of the 2020 Playoffs.

They are when Hahn's incompetence has led to two bullpen starts and the precipice of being swept in Oakland, by the worst team in possibly a century.

Fire Rick Hahn, NOW!
