He of course is having a great year, but if you take a step back, Cueto has contributed as much as he would have in that spot (so far).  This isn’t excusing them from not doing the QO.

Wish we had brought in Cueto sooner instead of throwing that POS Keuchel in there punting every fourth or fifth game.

This offense needs to get its collective head out of its ass.  We are not facing Sandy Koufax every game.  AL Offenses score runs.

Way too many non-power threats.  When you consider how slow they are, station-to-station is quite difficult.

The extra value they could have gotten from Rodon between OD-Mid May when Cueto debuted is probably the difference in the division. Not offering Rodon the QO + matching what the Giants gave him is, was, and will always be inexcusable for a franchise that will find any reason under the sun not to sign pitchers to *long-term* contracts, 1 or 2 years of someone with ace potential should have been right in their wheelhouse.

I am still annoyed about this but obviously I need to let it go.

No you don't. As long as people keep talking about Rodon as if he's about to spiral downwards or get injured again when he's already met the Giants qualifier for IP and they can now give him a QO and get a prospect back for him thanks to MLBPA and MLB not coming to an agreement on the IntL draft.
