Look, I might not be Jack level of depressed with this team, but if winning a lot of baseball games is an option, that is always the choice for me.  A bad playoff series is better than missing the playoffs any day.

As someone who as recently as last year watched a 2000 ALDS White Sox vs. Mariners replay on youtube, I agree.

Then why are you still here?  If you feel there is no hope, then perhaps find a better use of your time.

My wife likes to read these paranormal romance novels and she told me "Hope" is some hunky demon....be careful of that guy.

Hopefully he'll come through anyway, but Pollock being up here against a RHP instead of Vaughn, Abreu etc is just brutal

It's also a RHP with good velocity. I can already see him getting blown away on a high fastball.

There's still reason to watch. Moncada is back and maybe Eloy can figure it out. I'm watching like it's 2019 right now. Taking silver linings into 2023.

I enjoy baseball even when it's shitty. I'm done being mad about this year.

The 16 year old Soph in HS version of me was devastated by that series, man did I have my hopes up.
