GT 8/3: Outfielders? We don't need no stinking outfielders!

Recommended Posts

Nice to see Jose this series return to his old form vs. KC. He killed them in the past. Jose is really putting together another Jose-like season despite the early month woes and some people doubting him. Eloy mania is back. If Eloy can stay healthy and get some help from hitting coaches, it's apparent he can hit.

Every damn time

TA with RISP pulls the ball 42% of the time when he puts the ball in play. When he pulls, he has hit it on the ground 20 out of 22 times. So yeah...it pretty much is every damn time whenever he pulls the ball with RISP.

TA's pull rate with no runners on is around 26%. There is a clear change in approach whenever he hits with men on base.

He has no pull power. He's hit 4 fly balls to the pull side all season and he doesn't have a hit on any of them. The guy has a great approach and doesn't stick to it for whatever reason.

And the question remains does he even know he is doing it ? And if not maybe the analytics team can say something to someone who can tell him ?

I'm starting to dislike him more than anyone, and I hate that I am feeling that way.

I should hate Moncada more but Moncada has been a prima-donna since he could not be bothered with second base.

Anderson's antics have become insufferable and he seems incapable of handling the pressures he bestowed upon himself.  He should have a solid position batting ninth in the lineup and playing second base or CF.  His baserunning, defense and ability to hit with a man on base are discouraging.

The organization seems to fear dealing with both he and Moncada.
