EloyJenkins
Need so much more of this. Eloy is just right at the plate right now. If Robert picks it up...it really does feel like "additions" to the team
MikeKreevich
Really glad Guaranteed Rate doesn't have private boxes behind home plate. How annoying was it to watch people obviously not paying attention when someone would love to have such a great view. Moncada looks lost. What can be done? Bossanoveralls
Like I always say. Sometimes you're the lawnmower. Sometimes you're just another bug in the yard.

Somebody has to have a long serious talk with him and tell him to be truthful if his oblique is bothering him. If he says he's fine .Go over each of his last 20 or so AB's and ask him what he's thinking on each pitch and someone with a good understanding of hitting has to tell him where his thinking is wrong and tell him to swing like he means it. Use pitch data you have before that . See how they are pitching him . Lots of changeups , curves , sliders ? How many fastballs is he seeing ? Give him a better understanding of himself and his swing . Concentrate of his LH AB's because thats the majority of his AB's. Also if the Sox are upset with him in any way because of his personal life tell him if he can't help the team and get his act together he'll be back in the minors until he does and that he's hurting the team and letting his team mates down. He must be dedicated to baseball and work hard and want to be much better. He owes it to himself and his family to be the best he can be.

People just doubt he won’t trip and fall. A true addition that one could have confidence in would be a second baseman or outfielder added.
