turnin' two
Well, hopefully Sosa gets some run here. And it isn't just the Leury show.
chw42
Get ready for lots of Leury Garcia. Sosa is probably here to stay cause of the injury, but I doubt he gets a lot of PT. On the bright side, Pollock will get to hit leadoff a lot and we'll get to see if he's actually good there over a sustained period of time.
ThatBallHitDeep_WAYBack
Gee Mendick getting hurt on a little league effort by Haseley really stinks. Sosa needs some run NOT Leury Garcia.
ThatBallHitDeep_WAYBack
The Leury Garcia voodoo doll is real. 1
Jack Parkman
Aren't there only 7 weeks left in the season?
wegner
Pollock has looked very good leading off....leave him there while he is hot.
chw42
Just now, Jack Parkman said: Aren't there only 7 weeks left in the season? I think there's 8 cause the season goes into October. But yeah, TA won't be able to do a minor league rehab on his way back. We'll probably still be in the race by then just because we have 6 games left with the Twins in the last 9. CentralChamps21
So for the 2nd game of the DH when his suspension is over, he goes on the IL and ReyLo comes off the IL?

maloney.adam
Not good timing. This explains the Sosa call up but we are going to see more of Garcia aren’t we? Why bring him up if you aren’t going to play him a lot. Edited August 9, 2022 by maloney.adam
TheBooneLoganEra
How bad is it that I don't even really care? Watch this team get hot as hell now that the Tim Anderson show is on hiatus. 2

fathom
Yep you could tell he was hurt right away. Seems odd they just announced this. Hope this doesn’t impact his power next year.
