That's about the only defense for Hahn that feels valid. This roster is under performing, which I put on Tony, injuries, and players. The non impact deadline is also on Hahn. This past offseason and the trade deadline, zero RFs or LH bats, overpaying Leury & Harrison, overpaying shitty pen arms, total lack of depth. There is plenty of blame to put on Hahn along with TLR & JR.
southsideirish71
Joe Kelly is out due to lightheadedness? These fuckers are soft.
Ducksnort
What a fucking mess. This is the worst season I've ever witnessed considering the expectations going into the season. And, as a sox fan, that's pretty abysmal.

Lopez, Graveman and Hendriks only pitched once since Friday. Total managerial incompetence.
caulfield12
Indians' announcers simply can't believe Sox are losing to KC 4-0 with Cease starting the game. Edited August 11, 2022 by caulfield12
fathom
When are people going to realize it doesn’t matter who pitches against the Sox or who they play? If you can’t score, every game has the potential to be too close. This team has the explosiveness of the Bears offense under Henry Burris.

I mean we joke about the Sox always making these kinds of pitchers look good, but they've set that precedent. There has to be a REASON for it. It's so obvious the lack of leadership, discipline, the will to win, accountability, competence, it's all non-existant. I just can't believe this front office isn't doing anything about it after the rebuild they just went through. Absolutely asanine. Guess what Rick? Your team is STILL mired in mediocrity.

Tomtom
This is why you still need to use your “A” relievers in when down by a run or two. 2 1 1
hankchifan
Grandal homer showed TLR the importance to keep the game 1-0 and not bring Ruiz in when you have ReyLo and Graveman available. Another unforced error of not using your best resources in a critical game situation. 1
