Expand This. I know he's a terrible coach, like the entire staff. But every run is magnified on this team. It's a product of a terrible offense. Same goes for LaRussa's management of the pen. There's ZERO margin for error. The pitching has to be fed up with this crap at this point. Expand However, there were no outs and Grandal is the slowest runner in the majors. It was a dumb and costly send. In hindsight, we should have pinched run for Grandal, it was the 7 th inning and a critical run.
