Well that is a lineup

Fine with it.  Pollock needs a seat.  Though I'd ride the Romy train at 2B a bit longer.  Harrison hasn't been fielding his position lately, and if he doesn't do that he's worthless.

SS Andrus

CF Robert

DH Jimenez

1B Abreu

RF Sheets

LF Vaughn

3B Moncada

2B Harrison

C Zavala

That would be my lineup tonight with these players.

I'd much rather see AV get the extra PA than Elvis.

Typical TLR, guy has a nice game and sits the next game, what a demented jerk.

With the next White Sox win this season, Tony La Russa will clinch an over .500 record as White Sox Manager (678-640 .514) through 2022.

Tony La Russa is outside of the Top Ten Managers in White Sox history in winning percentage, because he always has and always will suck ass.

White Sox Manager Winning Percentage Leaders:

  1. Fielder Jones .592
  2. Clark Griffith .581
  3. Pants Rowand .578
  4. Marty Marion .565
  5. Al Lopez .564
  6. Gene Lamont .551
  7. Paul Richards .529
  8. Bob Lemon .525
  9. Ozzie Guillen .524
  10. Eddie Collins .521
  11. Kid Gleason .519
  12. Jerry Manuel .515
  13. Jeff Torborg .515

Harrison is 10 for 19 against Lyles.  Not a huge sample size, but I'm guessing that has somethig to do with it.

I thought for sure Perez would get a start here. Seby has caught 3 straight games.

They said they’re saving him for when Martin pitches, presumably tomorrow, since they’ve worked together before. But yes, this is a lot of work for Zavala.

Sox definitely need to go 9-1 the next 10. Ok, maybe 8-2 would be good enough. Just assuming they have to get to 88 wins, so 25-13 the rest of the season. Stranger things have happened and we’re this close to the end. Might as well hope they turn into the 2007 Rockies.

Need Colas
