Man, I'm sorry.  The site hung up, but I thought it went through.  I wasn't being a dickhead.  I live in western KY, near Paducah.

Cool, I was just wondering, considering I don't know many Sox fans down here in kentucky...Didn't think you were being a dickhead, you're one of my favorite posters on the site...

Thanks. Next time I'm in that area, we'll get together and down a few cold ones. :cheers

Sounds good, you looking forward to having Darrin Horn as the new man at the helm at WKU?

LOL ... WKU is not in Western KY... Not really. You are probably closer to Bowling Green than me. I live two hours west of there. I don't follow WKU.

Another displaced Sox fan.  :D I grew up in the the SW burbs of Chicago.

My family is originally from NW indiana, but I've always lived down here in Southern IN/Louisville area. Just grew up with being a Sox fan in my blood, now I'm an addict...Do you make it up to many games?

I made it up for one trip, two games, this year. Back in May. I met quite a few of the posters when I was there. It was all good.

I made it to 6, didn't meet anyone from the site, hope to change that next season. Another goal is attending 10 games next year.

You should come up next summer when the Knights play the Bats.

Two summers ago I went over to the team hotel, met Borchard for about 20 mins, talked some baseball, got some stuff signed and had one hell of an experience...

I'd like to make it too a lot more than I did.  That's for sure.  Where do you stay when you go up there?

Usually in the downtown Hyatt or Marriott.

Usually take Southwest into Midway and get around on the train...Southwest is real cheap out of Louisville to Chicago. I flew up twice this past summer, drove once.

If at all possible, I'll do that. That would be cool. In fact, I was going to try that this past year, but had to curtail my summer activities due to some unexoected expenses.

I know HSC and some other posters came down this past summer when the Bats and Knights played, but coincidentally, I was in Chicago that weekend for the Sox-Devil Rays series...

Hell, I have to drive 2 hours to get to a decent airport (Nashville). I might as well just drive to Chicago.

Very true, since I live about 3 mins from the Louisville airport, I'm in Chicago in about 50 mins via flight. Much better than driving.
