High sliders way to often.  Wish he could still throw in high 90s.

Pitchers have to learn to pitch without their best stuff. Kopech is still in the learning process of his pitching just as Cease was for a while. He's also still in the building up his arm stage too.  Once both things are at their peak you could see better MPH , another pitch and , better command. There's no doubt the season is taking a physical toll on him at this point.

How did Cleveland end up with 6 at home against KC to end the year? Was this the original schedule or are there make up games included.

Bottom line the Sox just waited too long to get serious about this thing. I blame a lot of this on TLR and his giving too many games away with terrible lineups. This group needed a constant fire lit under their butts and TLR was not the right Manager for that job.

MLB just took the first series of the year and put them at the end of the year.

Do you think he will hurt the team the rest of the way or himself ? Both ?

Play him live and die with your best. Do we really need to see the Pollock , Vaughn , Sheets OF more ? Engel is trashed.

Him swinging so hard, yet one-handed, absolutely seems like a serious injury waiting to happen.
