If Twins play good baseball this weekend, Cleveland's pen is going to be extremely worn out for our series next week, while our pen should be quite rested coming off three in Detroit and an off day.

The Twins need to get solid starting pitching. Unfortunately, they just wasted Gray and Ryan against the Royals. I think they'll both pitch against the Twins, but the Twins will also be throwing Archer, Bundy, and Winder. All of them failed to go even 5 innings against the Guardians in the last series.

Everyone out here having a nice day at the plate.......

and then there is AJ Pollock...

Mr. infield pop up. What sucks is that with Robert still hurt, he has to play almost every day since the alternative is Engel.

It's nice to see other managers do something inexplicable from time to time. Guardians win this game the Sox are basically 6 games back with the tie breaker gone, instead they will likely be 3 back. How does Tito punt this one?  They had a chance by bury the Sox for good.

It's weird that Lynn threw so many curveballs against the Mariners but then just completely ditched it the past 2 starts. Part of it might have been the shadows in Seattle, but he was also throwing them a lot more prior to that start.

Yoan rushed that.

In order to better square himself up he wouldve had to twist that oblique pretty good with all that momentum going left and having to twist his body back right. Maybe just a little sign he's also still protective of that side of his body. Even if he's over it physically , might not be mentally over it yet.

I think with the news of cedar point retiring the dragster coaster due to safety concerns, they should announce their newest rollercoaster guaranteed to speed thru ERA like nothing else in the world...the Gaddis!

Yea, we'd have McKenzie and a totally different game.

Cleveland is in a better position to know whether McKenzie needed additional rest, and they are definitely better than the Sox in evaluating players rest and injuries.

Just taking this as Cleveland not wanting to drop this guy from the 40 man, or not having anyone else in the minors at this point who is better. They have promoted many players this season, so they may be at the bottom of the barrel. Their bullpen is running on fumes at this point, so a bullpen game wouldn't have been smart short or long term.
