Gonzalez is just so good against low breaking balls. I've only watched him so much, but every time I've watched him he's hammered them. Even ones almost in the dirt.

It's funny cause Schmidt hung 2 sliders and Gonzalez just fouled them off. He finally throws a good one low and away, but close to the zone, and Gonzalez walks him off.

God knows Grandal would have called fastballs

Scouted by a famous Dominican singer who opened a baseball academy.

"Of course, this organization also left Gonzalez unprotected from the Rule 5 draft last winter. Had the lockout not spurred the cancellation of the annual event, Gonzalez would likely be hacking away in another uniform. Gonzalez insists he wasn’t concerned about that, nor was he re-evaluating his future when he became a minor-league free agent for a week after the 2021 season ended. None of that matters now, anyway."

Roberts would be 12-5 in elimination games after starting out 4-4.

Pretty incredible to get 8 out of 9 when 55-60% would seem a lot more realistic, at best.

Way the manifest a comeback caulfield.

For as great as the Dodgers are, their team is light on dominant relievers. They have a bunch of good ones but no one they can bring it to just blow people away.

Kimbrel was supposed to be that guy, but he's broken.

The problem was that Roberts totally rushed Vesia coming into this game. Hell, he was even gonna let Almonte pitch to Cronenworth and changed his mind after the first pitch. All the Dodgers fans want Roberts fired for that move lol.

They had the resources to take a swing for Hader or probably even our Liam. Continuing to build a pen filled with good, not great relievers works well in the regular season but it seems to cost them every October.

Damn, if only Andrew Friedman had Rick Hahn's ambitions for his bullpen.

Have to go with the hot hand there and not pull Almonte after two huge outs.

Suarez can be wild from time to time and will be super amped up.

In theory, Hader will get the last four outs, although all the evidence in the  world says to start him with just one clean inning.
