southsider2k5
This guy is writing for Soxnet.net, but I have never heard of him? Is Soxnet back up, or is it lost to us forever? http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=cita...tadel&type=lgns
aboz56
Besides the fact that this article is poorly written, it also has a few glowing errors. "Nearing 25, Borchard has still yet to spend a full season in the major leagues. For the second consecutive year, he's played just 16 games for the White Sox, all coming in the month of September." Last time I checked, Borchard was up in May/June this year, not September. And if I am correct, he's already 25. "Borchard hit a respectable .253 in 114 games with Charlotte this year, cracking 13 home runs and 53 RBIs. He also hit 20 doubles and struck out over 100 times with the Knights." Since when is .253 at AAA respectable? It's pretty much known that he regressed this season. "The $5.3 million investment should still turn out to be worth every penny. Borchard looks to be the Sox' starting centerfielder out of Spring Training in 2004 if all goes as planned. Watch for him to move to a corner outfield position once he establishes himself." It appears this individual has either been misinformed or hasn't seen Borchard play lately. He'll be lucky to break spring with the team, let along be the starting CF. Horrid article. Guest JimH
Horrid article yes, but Borchard doesn't turn 25 until November. At the moment, he's still 24 so the author was correct on that.
cwsox
that is not our (which is to say, Molto's) soxnet.net, that is Insiders version of the same and soon (I hope) that situation will be resolved - pay it no heed

Chisoxfn
They don't have the link www.soxnet.net but they can basically call it what they want cause SoxNet is not trademarked or anything like that. But that has nothing to do with us. Were hoping to be able to publish again soon, but who knows.
