CubsSuck1
I have to say the future does not look bright for us right now, Colon and Thomas both have good chances of not being here next year. We couldn't get it done last year, and unless something unbelieveable happens, then I don't see next years team being any better than last years. Maybe whover our manager is can kick some s*** into this team..

Frank has got to move on and Colon didnt turn out to be the lifesaver we had all dreamed of. I can't wait to see a young, different kind of White Sox team out there thats really hungry for wins. Capn12
Frank will be here, whether we the fans want him or not.....he has said that last years delve into Free Agency was "a bust" and that he doesnt really wanna go through it again. We will have a $6 million DH next year, like it or not. I am really starting to think that we will also have a $8 million DH forced into playing first in Konerko. Thats 50% of our payroll in 3 players who, while each have definate strengths they bring to the table, none are superstars that shuold be responsible for that much of a teams payroll. They were talking about it on espn, saying frank if not afraid to test free agency and that there is a good chance of that happening

Hopefully we can ship Konerko off to Baltimore or LA this offseason. Otherwise we're gonna hav major problems rebuilding. And a young team hungry for wins can succeed, just look at da Marlins. Frank Thomas will be here, believe me, everyone I have talked to who would know the best says he will be back. I myself would like Frank to go, but he's not going to get more money elsewhere. winninguglyin83
Not only is Frank not going to get more money, he's not going to get it guaranteed for three more years. That's why he'll be back -- in 2005, too. We need a manager who will kick him in the butt -- and not back down.

LMAO!!! I loved Frank Thomas as a player all through the 1990's, but this isn't the 1990's anymore. He's mortal now, has no plate recognition anymore, and will be lucky to hit .240 next year. He's turned into Cecil Fielder (the Yankees years). If he leaves, I won't cry. Or even blink. I just wish we could dump him and GIDPaul tomorrow. That would make my decade. YASNY
This is going to be a very interesting off season, and when it's all said and done, I don't think Sox fans are going to be happy campers.
