Two of us used to be the only 2 in the right field bleachers with signs for the church of the United calderonists. He was a great guy and used to talk to us between pitches.

Talk about a time when there was low attendance. They used to close the upper deck and sometimes try to kick the 2 of us out of right field but Ivan would stick up for us. In 88 and 89 I bet they averaged under 15000 a game.

1987-89 the three worst attendance seasons then the huge jump back up with the memorable 1990 team under Torborg

The jump was that it was the last season in the old ballpark.

Yeah looking back it's incredible the 1989 team was so poorly attended when it was the most interesting and exciting collection of talent in my lifetime and almost took down the A's.

1990 was the new park...and someone like Sax or Cory Snyder that inevitably disappointed.

Trading Sosa for Bell too...at least they still had Wilson Alvarez and Scooter Fletcher lol.

Baines trade/s.

I distinctly remember talking to Carlos Martinez through picnic screen down at field level in left.

Should have heckled KW in CF or at 3B.

"Talk to me after the parade..." - Rick Hahn. ?

Yep, along with the other annoyingly arrogant comments , "We're going to win multiple titles and "It's World Series or Bust".

Hahn has been the GM for 10 years now!

W-L record of 700-817 for a .461 winning percentage.

Only 2 winning seasons.

Only 2 playoff wins.

Zero playoff series wins.

No other owner in baseball would still have this POS loser Hahn still employed.

How is it even politics when those authoritarian governments don't provide anything more than sham elections and opposition parties are banned lol?

The moderating team must absolutely LOVE you...do they still even respond?

Reported once again. We'll see who the funny guy is after these reports have been reviewed by the mods.

Who is the last non first round pick who the Sox drafted and developed who you could say was a really valuable player? To cherry pick a little bit, throw middle relievers out of the equation.

In the last 25 years, since the Buehrle draft and follow, it looks like , despite KWs reputation as a scouting genius, it’s only Marcus Semien who they traded before he became good.
