Expand Yeah looking back it's incredible the 1989 team was so poorly attended when it was the most interesting and exciting collection of talent in my lifetime and almost took down the A's. 1990 was the new park...and someone like Sax or Cory Snyder that inevitably disappointed. Trading Sosa for Bell too...at least they still had Wilson Alvarez and Scooter Fletcher lol. Baines trade/s. To cherry pick a little bit, throw middle relievers out of the equation. In the last 25 years, since the Buehrle draft and follow, it looks like , despite KWs reputation as a scouting genius, it’s only Marcus Semien who they traded before he became good.
