caulfield12
https://ballparkdigest.com/2023/03/29/2023-spring-training-attendance-by-average/ Dodgers with more than double the average of Sox games...not surprisingly coming off last season (granted both ended with different levels of disappointment, relatively). Cubs, Angels, Dodgers, DBacks (home turf, almost) and Giants (Cal proximity) make up the Top 5 Yankees and Red Sox 6th and 7th, Rockies 8th, Phillies coming off WS 9th, Mariners 10th Edited April 12, 2023 by caulfield12
4uckOffCommieScum
Moving to the west valley was a horrible move for the Sox. Way more Sox fans in the east valley and who the hell wants to visit glendale. Takes like an hour to get to the game. I could get to Tucson almost that fast and then at least you got to visit Tucson. When they played in Tucson they actually drew a crowd and they had a street named after Emil Bossard. If they were going to leave there they should have moved to Mesa or something. They probably don’t care much about cactus league attendance but it’s another little thing they did to alienate fans imo
