YASNY
I believe I read somewhere that if Frank exercises the option, then he will also void his 10/5 rule no trade rights. Is this, or something similar, correct?
DBAHO
Hope so, could come in handy if there's a Pittsburgh like fire sale at the trade deadline next year. Teams like Oakland could be lookin for a slugger round then.

YASNY
is it even possible to void your 10/5 rights? I didnt know if that was even possible Sure it's possible. It's done all the time when they throw enough money at someone. This is the same situation, except it's supposed to be written in the contract. I'm still hoping someone has a definitive answer on this one. Steff?
Pastime
Frank, PLEASE LEAVE. He's nothing more than Dave Kingman at this point in his career. Go west, young man. Go west. The ocean is beautiful in Los Angeles, Frank. You would love laying on the beach. Just don't get harpooned by accident.

The reason I'm asking about this is that if Frank exercises his option, then KW can trade him to LA. They have a kid named Berry or Barry that I know KW likes.
