Thesieve30
What would it take to bring this guy on board? He loves challenges and turning the Sox around would be another miracle in his resume.

Tnetennba
Theo hasn't been any good since the slot system and INT caps went into effect. His best tools were throwing gobs of money at amateur talent. No way he would come here to work under JR's constraints.

Green Line
Why would he want to come to this organization? They're not hiring anyone of that caliber as long as Jerry owns the team.

YonderLaroche
Theo and Joe Maddon or Ozzie. Yes I'm serious. Atleast we could rival the cubs if we can't rival anyone beyond the royals
Dick Allen
The only way Theo came to the White Sox is if he was part of some ownership group that bought the team.

Serious teams looking for a General Manager to turn things around don't go looking within the organization like the Sox. They seek an innovator, someone to spend the owners money to build a winning team. Those teams shop at Whole Foods or Sunrise while the Sox shop at Food For Less and Walmart. Not really, he sold a lot of Cub assets during the rebuild to acquire draft picks and prospects, then they did their homework in the scouting department and drafted well. They actually developed their players in the minor's and taught the players "The Cub Way" of doing things.. I believe he put together a list or hand-out of "The Cub Way" as a guide for the minor and major league players to follow and what was expected of them in the Big Leagues. It's called accountability, not letting the inmates run the asylum like the Sox way of doing things. 2
The Grinder
Theo likes a challenge but I doubt he'd even consider this train wreck, its like trying to climb Mt Everest in sandals OTOH if JR sweetened the pot which he wont do
