“You guys are bitches” needs to be the attitude against our division.  It starts with Correa and the Twins.  We’re going to dominate you this year.   I like this guy

A loss of Burger beyond a day or two will prove costly as there are no adequate third basemen left in the organization, the one down note for this one.

First MLB victory for Santos!

That was nice to win. It's nice to flash some speed (Beni and Hamilton baby). Not sure why Cease didn't dominate but the bullpen was OK. Great to see Eloy stroke that single. And these homers with men on base are nice, Way to go, Robert.

Still haven't bought in, but if u are gonna lose 10 in a row, at least it's nice to get 2 back vs. the Twins. Hope the Sox don't concede Thursday and sweep those bastards. Team has so much work to do but I congratulate them for a fine win today.

p.s.haven't forgot Timmy. Nice hitting to RF baby.

Third baseman Jake Burger left Wednesday’s game with left side discomfort after striking out looking in the fourth inning. Burger appeared to wince after swinging the bat. He is being further evaluated, the team said.

Sure glad we got Hanser Alberto! ?

Meanwhile Moncada still hasn't gone on a rehab assignment, getting to be a month out of action now.

Not good. Can Hamilton play 2B? Move Elvis over to 3B. ... This is a bad development, however, at least Anderson is back.

Hamilton's hustle proven big. Real hustle and baseball-smarts can win you a lot of games.

On the other hand...

Cease now is a real concern. Not even close to last season. Far to many damn walks.

Cease was dominant when he was calling his own pitches. Got in a rhythm and threw strikes. Now with Grandal "in charge", he looks lost. Can someone explain why they went away from Cease calling his own game? And please don't tell me it was because Pitch Com kept falling off his glove.

At least the team is showing a bit more fight and desire, obviously 3 wins helps that, and having Hamilton up who has a lot of hustle adds to that. Hopefully the good night for Eloy is a sign that his bat is warming up. Any injury to Burger would be a real negative, especially as there is no sign of Moncada returning anytime soon.

Billy is a nuisance, and it's really nice to have him on the roster.  He's being used exactly how he should be used, and it's paying off.  I'm sure he'll get the occasional start or at-bats after being subbed in, and he'll confirm he's not much of a hitter.  But as a pinch runner and defensive replacement, he's perfect.

This seems like a different team.  The walk-off on Sunday may have indeed woken them up.  Maybe the roster moves helped, too.

Honestly getting one player who enjoys playing baseball on this team is like a damn alien gets dropped on it.

Billy forever. With 26 spots and new rules, no reason he can’t be player-manager-GM

The funny thing is that it's so obvious what this team has missed and it's what Ozzie talked about on the AJ podcast and that's a leader.  Maybe it's Andrus maybe it's Billy I am not certain what it is but this organization needs less silent leaders and more vocal.

I love WST shitting on the White Sox home run get up.  That was produced by Elvis.  If Elvis ever homers they need to make him where an Elvis wig and glasses.  That aspect is supposed to be goofy and yes the organized crime that it portrays isn't the best but it's a part to the team and city (Black Sox scandal).

Lol 670 blasting Kenyan Middleton for calling Correa a cheater

670 is straight trash

They are the Cubs station. They must do what they can to trash non score products. Haugh really is stuck in the company line.

Santos was a trade, so we should give Rick Hahn some credit for his masterful trading skills.

Of course we can give Hahn the credit.

A GM considered a bad decision-maker can occasionally be right. As we know..."A broken clock is always right twice a day."

That's a great point. Does anyone know what specific game Cease was stopped from calling his own pitches? Plus why in the hell was Dylan stopped from calling his own pitches? What happened to the time tested concept, "If it's not broke...don't fix it!"

Btw, why does SoxTalk have to make these observations and not Pedro and Katz looking into this?
