YonderLaroche
Bored and since sox have a 0.1% chance of winning world series with 180 million payroll here's my Rick Hahn All Sux Team. Guys they held onto too long , signed to fill holes they were to cheap to spend on, or just flat out frustrating to watch or guys they traded future all stars Tatis Jr, Nick Madrigal, Marcus Siemien, Chris Bassit for. Some positions there's actually 2 people that can't be ignored C Tyler Flowers / Yasmani Grandal 1B Adam Dunn / Adam Laroche 2B Brett Lawrie / JOSH Harrison / Cesar Hernandez SS Gordon Beckham 3B Tod Frazier / Jeff Keppinger LF Dayan Viciedo / Jon Jay CF Adam Engel RF Matt Davidson / AJ Pollock DH Mark Kotsay / Yonder Alonso SP James Shields SP Jeff Samardzija SP Dylan Axelrod SP Dallas Keuchel SP Dylan Covey / Derek Holland RP Joe Kelly RP Carson Fulmer RP Kelvin Herrera RP Zach Stewart RP Matt Albers RP Jake Diekmman RP Hanser Alberto CP Craig Kimbrel Bench Mark Teahen Daniel Palka Nicky Delmonico Leury Garcia Ryan Cordell Edited May 6, 2023 by YonderLaroche
FloydBannister1983
I thought Beckham played second.
dohnut
Good bad list :). I don’t think Grandal deserves to be on it, though.
ron883
A good amount of these are on KW. I also feel like Mark Kotsay blame should go to Ozzie. I understand KW made the move, but wasn't Ozzie going to not play Thome much if they kept him? He loved Kotsay's "versatility".
chitownsportsfan
Tyler Flowers has 20 career fWAR. As they often do, the Sox gave up on him too early after basically turning him into a solid player. A once in a lifetime Sox development and they let him go just in time for him to turn in a few near All Star level years.
wegner
At 3B, I would personally replace Frazier on that list with Kevin Youkilis....I could not stand that guy and he sucked imho. And I was recently informed that he bashed the fans on his way out the door....the feeling is mutual you rat bastard asshat. I never minded Youk too much but Swisher was such a prick.

Yeah he was. How did Swish not make the list? I remember buying into his bullshit act in spring training for a bit but that did not last long. WBWSF
The thing that gets me about the list is the millions of dollars spent on them. I find it unbelievable that Hahn still has his job. Although I do believe if this season continues to be a disaster Hahn will be gone this off season.
Dick Allen
500 year old Jimmy Rollins would look good at SS on that team.
turnin' two
Davidson, Beckham, Del Monico and LaMarre are also part of the all- best-hair team And again #teamPalkamania
Buehrle>Wood
Todd Frazier was good with the Sox. I don't think he needs his name with all this other crap. I think Dunn was KW. Not quite sure Grandal belongs yet but we will see based on this year. Edited May 5, 2023 by Buehrle>Wood
soxfaninfl
Now make an all-time great team. Bet that would be much more difficult.
