The truly agonizing thing about these AAAA types we have been forced to stomach at various times over the past 30 years is that they are so damned close to being actually passable major leaguers that sometimes if you squint you can see it (IE Sheets, Alberto, Leury, Palka). We’ve been so conditioned to root for bums that you can almost see that the bums might be good. Kinda. Maybe.

Def. I have given up however. If the Sox think they are any good, chances are, they ain't.

Hanser Alberto did this same exact s%*# with the Dodgers. He would be terrible for weeks on end, then have a 12-15 series with 3 homers. Stats can lie sometimes.

Ha, another player that has lost all his power.

Idk how many times they are going to kill any type of rally with runners on base with the good ol ground ball double play combo

Why not put runner in motion on 3-1 with a prime double play candidate?  Is that too difficult for the most generic manager ever?

Anderson seems like he’s really slumping, more than a usual cold spell. I wonder if his babip magic is finally catching up with him.

Turns out changing your entire approach and swing in order to get doubles into the RF corner isn't ideal.

He’s Nick Madrigal now. It’s quite disheartening

Yeah I just don’t get it. Seems like the royals have either turned a DP or nearly missed turning 2 at least every inning so far
