Once Eloy is back this roster is as good as it’s gonna get.

Crochet too...

Don't forget Liam. Colas can provide help as well if he can take the next step, the Sox have two legitimate starting outfielders on their roster.

Are you counting Benintendi??

It would seem that Sheets is regressing and I fear his proficiency in RF does not atone for his lack of efficacy as a hitter. I am not seeing MLB tools here. It doesn't help that Vaughn has really cratered lately with RISP. I would bring Colas back in the near future to play RF  with a corresponding move. Cruel world.

They all suck but if we're just going to lose you might as well lose with Burger and Colas getting as many MLB PA as possible. I'd consider just DFA Sheets or trading him for some PTBNL.

Ultimately Sheets and Burger will both stay due to cheapness/affordability/fan recognition.

Moncada, Jimenez, Benintendi and TA are all living on borrowed time right now. The only questions remaining are what to do with Cease, Kopech and Clevinger to a lesser extent.

Vaughn as well. Don't see him getting traded until they have officially declared the rebuild dead.

I agree with this plan. At least Colas will play a better right field.

If the Sox were smart, which they are not, they should hire a Frank Thomas, or someone like Frank on a short term consulting basis, to come in and work with Colas, or other struggling hitters. Frank could try and help them with their lack of plate discipline and impatient swings. It sure couldn't hurt to try because our hitting coach can't seem to get it done.
